LOT Polish Airlines will start a new service between Warsaw and New Delhi. The route will start on 17 September 2019 and will be operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliner five times per week.

Flights will depart from Warsaw at 22:40 and land in India at 09:40 (+1 day). Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Return flights depart New Delhi at 11:05 and land in Poland at 15:35. Retern services will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

New Delhi will be LOT’s first Indian destination and sixth connection to Asia after Seoul, Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City.

“The long-awaited flight between Poland and India is becoming a fact. I am pleased to announce that this magnificent destination is being added to LOT’s growing network today. This is a great moment in our 90-year history,” said Rafał Milczarski, CEO of LOT.

“Poland, located in the very heart of Europe will be a gateway for passengers traveling to New Delhi from many cities in Central, Eastern, and Western Europe. The potential for this flight is huge, over 8.9 million passengers traveled between India and Europe in 2017. A convenient schedule provided by LOT, including an overnight eastbound flight, a comfortable onboard product, [and] seamless connectivity via Warsaw will certainly increase the flow of business and leisure coming to and from India,” Milczarski said.

LOT operates eleven B787 (both -8 and -9 series) Dreamliners. Four more will be added by the end of this year. The larger 787-9 model accommodates up to 294 passengers onboard in three classes of service: 24 seats in Business Class, 21 seats in Premium Economy Class, and 249 seats in Economy Class. The smaller 787-8 series, on the other hand, carries up to 252 passengers onboard across the same three classes.
