The 7th Shanghai International Aerospace Technology and Equipment Exhibition 2019 (News Release)

Directed by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, approved by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, “The 7th Shanghai International Aerospace Technology and Equipment Exhibition 2019” (AIREXPO SHANGHAI) will be held at National Exhibition and Convention Centre (Shanghai) on November 15-17, 2019. It is supported by Aviation Industry Corporation of China Ltd, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited, China Civil Airports Association, Aero Engine Corporation of China, AVIC Aeronautical Radio Electronics Research Institute, Shanghai Airport Authority, and China Baowu Steel Group Co, Ltd. The event is hosted by Shanghai Society of Aeronautics, organized by Golden Commercial, and co-organized by local society of Aeronautics. AIREXPO SHANGHAI will take full advantage of influence of later China International Import Expo (CIIE) and the yearly interval of Zhuhai Airshow (AIRSHOW CHINA).

AIREXPO SHANGHAI will take place at the same place with CIIE: the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The total exhibition area is nearly 26,000 square meters. The exhibits comprehensively involved Aircraft (Civil aircraft, corporate aircraft, UAV, helicopter, light craft, etc.); aerospace technology and equipment; aerospace technology and equipment on intelligent manufacturing; Lightening technologies and new materials in aerospace; aerospace measurement and testing; aircraft engineering technology and maintenance service; aircraft interiors and refurbishment; in-flight entertainment and communication system; general aviation and education; aircraft finance & leasing; civil-military integration and national defense technology industry; technology and application of UAV; airport construction and operation; and more.

“The 6th Shanghai International Aerospace Technology and Equipment Exhibition 2018” (AIREXPO SHANGHAI 2018) was successfully held in National Exhibition and Convention Centre (Shanghai) on May 14-16, 2018. We received positive comments from exhibitors and visitors.

The purpose of AIREXPO SHANGHAI 2018 was “Information docking and technology communication.” During the exhibition, the organizers of the exhibition specially held the 5th International Aircraft Engineering Summit; the 3rd Commercial Aero Engine Shanghai International Forum; the 8th Airport Construction Summit; International Aircraft Finance & Leasing Summit; Aircraft Intelligent Manufacturing & Materials Innovation Summit; Supply and Demand Docking Meetings for aircraft manufacturer, airlines, and smart airports; and more.

The Supply and Demand Docking Meeting was the biggest highlights. It provided a sample collection and information to purchase department of aircraft manufacturer, airline operators and airports. The aim is to promote understanding and friendship between both sides of the supply and demand by one-to-one face-to-face communication.

AIREXPO SHANGHAI Committee will strive to hold a successful, exciting, and unforgettable event in order to make a positive contribution to the development of Chinese aerospace industry and the construction of Shanghai International Aviation City. We sincerely hope AIREXPO SHANGHAI would be the second largest aerospace exhibition in China next only to Zhuhai Air show (AIRSHOW CHINA) under the guidance of related industry organizations all over the world.
