Baltia Airlines is planning a rebranding to push its FAR Part 121 certification and plans on launching operations in the near future. The company plans on changing its name with a vote from its newly appointed board of directors on May 11 to US Global Airways. The company will also change its original goal of flying between the U.S and Russia to operating between the U.S and Eastern Europe, as well as other smaller markets in the Mediterranean region. These flights will operate out of Stewart, NY, an airport situated 67 miles north from Midtown Manhattan. Thanks to incentives being offered by the airport, it will be easier for them to fly to these markets that were not possible before. Baltia has reportedly already rented out an office space at Stewart, with plans to rent out a hangar at the airport.
