EasyJet is set to further expand its presence in the German capital with the launch of flights from Berlin Schönefeld (SXF) to the Canary Islands, namely Lanzarote (ACE) and Las Palmas (LPA), two times a week each. Additionally, the airline plans to offer seasonal services from Berlin Tegel (TXL) to Hurghada (HRG) and Innsbruck (INN) during the winter 2018-19 season.
Brussels Airlines has announced the launch of additional services to Eastern Europe. Starting in October 2018, the airline will operate four weekly flights from Brussels (BRU) to Kiev (KBP), while Wroclaw (WRO) will be served three times a week.
Lufthansa on Tuesday announced the launch of a number of holiday destinations, including two weekly flights from each Frankfurt (FRA) and Munich (MUC) to Eilat (VDA) in Israel as well as to Agadir (AGA) in Morocco. From Frankfurt, the German flag carrier will also serve Thessaloniki (SKG) twice a week and Trieste (TRS) with two flights per day, while Edinburgh (EDI) and Tromso (TOS) are set to become the next additions to the airline’s Munich network, operated twice weekly each.
According to Airlineroute, Romanian low-cost airline Blue Air is set to launch flights between Bucharest (OTP) and Paris (CDG) in October 2018, operated four times a week by Boeing 737 aircraft. Blue Air will also fly three weekly flights from the Romanian capital to Paris Beauvais (BVA).
Over the past couple of weeks, India’s low-cost giant IndiGo has announced a number of new routes as pictured above, including the addition of Tuticorin (TCR), Surat (STV), Jorhat (JRH) and the Bangladesh capital Dhaka (DAC) to the airline’s network.
American Airlines will launch seasonal flights from Miami (MIA) to Houston Hobby (HOU) and Providence (PVD) as well as a service between Charlotte (CLT) and Champaign IL (CMI). All three routes will be operated on a daily basis with the inaugural flight taking place on 19th December 2018.
Aigle Azur is set to launch three weekly flights from Paris Orly (ORY) to Beijing (PEK) onboard Airbus A330 aircraft in September 2018. The French airline recently opened reservation for the route, which is its second to China.
Ryanair has opened reservation for additional services to Morocco. Flights between Madrid (MAD) and Ouarzazate (OZZ) as well as between Dusseldorf Weeze (NRN) and Essaouira (ESU) will be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays from late October 2018.
