Shunfeng Express (SF Express) is one of the most well-known express companies in China. They also own a strong fleet of cargo aircraft which operate for SF Airlines (Shunfeng Airlines – O3). SF Airlines owns 17 Boeing 737F aircraft (which include three Boeing 737-400F and fourteen Boeing 737-300F), 27 Boeing 757-200F aircraft, and 5 Boeing 767-300F aircraft. SF Airlines is one of the biggest express airlines in China today.

SF Airlines announced that they received two Boeing 747-4EVF(ER) aircraft from Jade Cargo International, which ceased operations in 2011. After Jade Cargo International shut down, three of its planes were sent to other carriers while another three were sent to China. One of Jade Caego’s old B747Fs (B-2421) has been held in Shenzhen (SZX/ZGSZ) and another two have been stored at Shanghai Pudong Airport (PVG/ZSPD) since Aug 2011. B-2421 flew to Tel Aviv (TLV/LLBG) from Shenzhen on July 22, 2018. The other two planes (B-2422 & B-2423) were those recently bought by SF Airlines.

B-2422 arrived in Guangzhou and parked outside the GAMCO in Jade Cargo International’s livery, although some parts of the old logo seem to have been lost.

B-2423 flew from Shanghai to  Guangzhou (CAN/ZGGG) on July 12, 2018 to have a maintenance overhaul and re-paint to SF Airlines. On Thursday, it was pulled out from GAMCO’s hangar. This was the first B747F revealed in the new SF Airlines livery.
