Jordan Williams, Reported Missing in Amherst, Has Been Safely Found

A community-wide search ended with relief as 17-year-old Jordan Williams, who was reported missing in Amherst, was safely located on May 30, 2025.

Cheektowaga Police initially sought public assistance after Jordan was last seen in the Rite Aid parking lot at 3924 Harlem Road.

He was wearing a red and white hoodie, red-striped pants, and carrying a black backpack.

Police described Jordan as a Black male with brown eyes and hair, standing 6’4″ tall and weighing 185 pounds.

Authorities emphasized that any information from the community could be critical in locating him.

Following the alert, members of the community and local authorities worked together to help find Jordan.

The Cheektowaga Police Department promptly updated the public later that day, confirming that Jordan had been located and safely returned home.

This male has been LOCATED and safely returned home. Thank you for all the assistance,” the department announced, highlighting the effectiveness of public cooperation in missing-person cases.

Police continue to encourage the public to remain alert and to report any relevant information to ensure the safety of all residents.
